Firework News: Bonfire Night Fireworks in Somerset

With bonfire night approaching fast, there are a number of events confirmed in Somerset for people to enjoy beautiful fireworks displays. Some of these events are free, and most are welcoming for families and people of all ages. 

To help you all with your bonfire night planning, we have put together this list of some of the different firework events for Bonfire Night 2024 in Somerset. 

Weston-Super-Mare Cricket Club: 

Address – Devonshire Rd, Weston-Super-Mare, BS23 4NY

Date – Saturday, November 2nd

Time – 5:30 pm – 11 pm

About – Enjoy a fantastic fireworks display from Firestorm Pyro FX, as well as a bonfire in a safe, and controlled environment. As well as fireworks there will be food and refreshment stalls plus an outside bar and funfair. 

Pricing – Family Tickets = £22.00 | Adult (over 16) = £9.00 | Child (under 16) = £5.00 | Under 3’s = FREE (MUST book online!) 

Pawlett Pavillion Fireworks 

Address – 38 Gaunts Rd, Pawlett, Bridgwater TA6 4SB

Date – Saturday, November 9th

Time – 7:00 pm

About – Enjoy a fantastic fireworks display from Rocketman Fireworks, at the pavilion for the people of Pawlett. Celebrating Guy Fawkes night, Rocketman Fireworks does this display every year, with it getting bigger and better each time. Families and children of all ages are welcome to watch.

Puxton Park Fireworks Extravaganza 2024

Address – Cowslip Lane, Hewish, BS24 6AH

Date – Saturday, November 9th

Time – 5 pm – 9 pm 

About – This extravagant Bonfire Night event will have it all. Rides, attractions, soft-play, hog roast, a BBQ and of course fireworks. The fireworks display will begin at 7 pm. 

Pricing – £15 per ticket | Children under 2 are FREE

 

Burnham-On-Sea Grand Fireworks

Address – Burnham-On-Sea seafront, TA8 1BQ

Date – Sunday, November 3rd

Time – 6:30 pm 

About – A free-to-watch 20-minute firework display from The Esplanade, including colourful fireworks being launched into the sky from the jetty, accompanied by a modern music line-up. 

Pricing – FREE for all ages (No booking required)

 

Bridgwater Grand Fireworks

Address: St Matthew’s Field, Bridgwater

Date – Friday, November 1st

Time – 3 pm Start

About – This is up there with the largest displays in the South West, with the event also including fairground rides for everyone’s entertainment. The fairground with be open between 3 pm and 9:30 pm. The fireworks display commences at 7:30 pm. 

Pricing – FREE for all ages (£7.00 for on-site car parking) 

 

Chard RFC Fireworks Display

Address – Chard RFC, Essex Close, Chard, Somerset, TA20 1RH

Date – Friday, November 1st

Time – From 6 pm 

About – The event begins at 6 pm with fireworks commencing at 7 pm. At the event, there will be live music from The Seatrees at 8 pm. As well as live music this event with have an outdoor bar, a BBQ and even a pancake pod! 

Pricing – Online: Adults = £8 / Child = £6.50 | On the Door: Adults = £10 / Child = £7.50

 

Bonfire Night at Oake Manor Golf Club

Address – Oake Manor Golf Club, Oake, Somerset, TA4 1BA

Date – Saturday, November 2nd 

Time – 5 pm – 9 pm 

About – This event includes fireworks from Firestorm Pyrotechnics (6:30 pm start), a free disco, hog roast, hot dogs, burgers and chips served from 5 pm. 

Pricing –  Driving Ticket = £25 | Non-Driving Ticket = £7 for adults & £5 for children (ages 5-16)

Tickets must be booked online – and cannot be purchased on arrival

Newton Poppleford Fireworks Display

Address – The Pavilion, Back Ln, Newton Poppleford, Sidmouth EX10 0EZ

Date – Friday, November 8th

Time – From 5:30 pm 

About – Fireworks from Rocketman Fireworks along with hot food, tea & coffee and mulled wine. Please note that there is no parking on site except for blue badge holders. Recommended to be at the venue by 6:30 pm.
