It is illegal to sell adult fireworks to anyone under 18, we have a challenge 25 policy, if you appear to look under the age of 25 you may be asked for ID. It is illegal for anyone under 18 to possess fireworks in a public place.

How to Buy

From Our website – select the fireworks you would like to purchase and proceed with the checkout process.

Purchase In store – The Personal touch, visit a branch (Bridgwater or Taunton- Hopefully more to follow), have a chat in store with one of our knowledgeable staff that can help to advise what fireworks will work for you, see a video of most fireworks beforehand and if your thinking of staying a while we will put the kettle on!

On the phone – We can help with the selection of fireworks prior to a purchase via the website or in store.

Facebook – Similar to the phone send us a message and we can help prior to purchasing via the website or in store.

General T’s & C’s

All our firework products conform to BRITISH STANDARD BS 7114, Part 2; 1988, EN14035 or CE regulations BSEN15947 and are supplied on the condition they will be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions supplied.

We make every effort to offer and stock as many items as possible, however all items offered on our website are subject to availability. Where an individual product is unavailable we will try to contact you and offer an alternative or refund any item that cannot be supplied that has been paid for.

FORCE MAJEURE

The seller shall be relieved of its obligations wherever and to the extent to which fulfillment is prevented, frustrated or impeded as a consequence of any cause outside the reasonable control of the seller including (but not limited to) Acts of God, fire, floods, war or civil disturbance or riot, Acts of Government, currency restriction or fluctuation, labor disputes, strikes, unavailability of materials or failure of supplier or subcontractor to deliver on time.

Privacy – Your Data, we only use your information to fulfil your orders and complete deliveries, we do not disclose to third parties.

Payments. For all web based orders online payments will be required. In store we accept Cash, Card and Direct Bank transfer. Sorry no Credit will be given.

 

Delivery

To see all of the areas we deliver to and the prices, please view our delivery page. If your postcode is not on there and you wish for a delivery, call us (we may be able to help).

We are unable to make delivery on the 5th of November & the 31st of December, for delivery on these dates please speak with our team.

We don’t use a courier and these deliveries are carried out by ourselves (explosives delivery is expensive!), we aim to get your delivery to you within 7 days between 8am – 6pm weekdays, a person over the age of 18 years old (Proof of Age may be required ) must be available at the point of delivery, a contact number will be required. If you have special requirements please get in touch.

Failed delivery can result in an additional fee for re-delivery.

Returns We hope you never need to return an item however for damaged items let us know instantly so we can arrange for a replacement.

For a faulty item such as a misfire, leave the firework for 24 hours, please get in contact with us, so when safe take some pictures for our reference (we need to guide you with what photos to take – we like to pass as much info back to the manufacturer, for instance, it failed after the tenth shot/tube) then totally submerge the firework in water for 24 – 48 hours then it can be disposed of in the way according to your local authority (usually in your standard bin), then get in touch and send us the pictures, we will pass these on to the manufacturer and arrange for a full refund.

Unwanted items

If you decide that you no longer want the items, you must contact us within seven days of delivery. We will then arrange for our collection the items from you. (It is illegal to send the items through the postal service or an unlicensed courier) The items must be unopened and in their original packaging. However you may open transport packaging to inspect the goods. Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the goods minus any delivery, collection and return charges.

We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.

Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

Cancellation Rights a. You have the right to cancel this order within seven working days beginning the day after the day on which you receive the goods b. If you wish to cancel this contract you must indicate this in writing or another durable medium such as letter, fax, email (provide addresses/email addresses/fax details by which to cancel) within the cancellation period c. You (the consumer) have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession d. You (the consumer) must arrange for the safe return of goods to us, however for fireworks this needs to be done through our specialist hazardous goods courier. the cost of which is to be born by you, failing which we will recover the goods, the cost of which will be deducted from any refund due to you e. Upon the cancellation of a contract we shall reimburse any sum paid by or on behalf of the consumer under or in relation to the contract to the person by whom it was made free of any charge (less any charge made in connection with recovery of the goods) within 30 days of cancellation f. Where goods do not conform to the implied terms set out under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 the cost of recovering the goods will be borne by ourselves

In Store collection

You can collect web orders from any of our branches (subject to being open, Taunton is a seasonal shop), simply select which branch and when, leaving at least 2 working days notice, please note that our storage is restricted, so please get in touch if your unable to collect on the planned date or if you need it sooner we can’t promise but we will try.

In-store Purchasing

Due to storage restriction we can’t always have everything we have in stock, best options is to get in touch when you know what you would like and we can advise weather its in stock, in storage or awaiting delivery.

Customers Responsibilities

We can help advise the effects of each firework but it is the customer who has to take responsibility for the safe use, surrounding areas including property and animals, any spectators and suitability of the fireworks, for a cat F2 firework a minimum safety distance of 8m will be required, for a cat F3 firework a minimum safety distance of 25m will be required. The customer should make sure they have the land owner’s permission. For a public display liability insurance should be in place For any more than 5kg of NEC/NEQ/NEM a storage licence maybe required depending on the duration the fireworks will be stored. The customer is responsible for the safe use of the fireworks and should follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. For customer collections the customer is responsible for making sure they are abiding by any laws for transport of dangerous goods.
